43 - INT. MEDICAL CENTER OBSERVATION ROOM - REBEL BASE

A minature mock-up of the set which shows Han resting on a bed, as called for in the script.

54 - EXT. SPACE - IMPERIAL FLEET

In the final film, Vader's Executor casts a shadow over other ships in the fleet. This storyboard shows that an on-screen sun was also to have been part of the effect. click to enlarge2


57 - INT. MEDICAL CENTER - REBEL BASE

Besides removing the Bacta mask, 2-1B appears to have used a kind of sensor or other device while attending to Luke's injuries.

Rogue Four, also known as Derek "Hobbie" Klivian, was scripted to crash his snow speeder directly into the head of Genaral Veers' AT-AT.

An exotic-looking Bespin security guard. The gold piping and different collar treatment suggest an officer's rank or possibly an earlier costume design.
