Here are selected unused scenes, moments, and/or camera angles from Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. The main references used are: the fourth draft screenplay revision, dated October 24, 1978; the novelization by Donald F. Glut; the Marvel Comics movie adaptation; and the "public" script as published in The Empire Strikes Back Notebook. A fifth draft (the shooting script), dated February 20, 1979, is currently unreleased. The primary goal of this section is to display all unused plot points that are known or believed to have been committed to film for Episode V. Other unfilmed "shooting script" elements are included as well, supported by production and comic book art or other non-photographic means. The use of italicized text is to indicate variance between the references and the final film.
